Education

Am I completely missing the boat on this one but where are the problem solving and critical thinking skills in the younger generations? Elementary to college and even post-college kids. Is this something that isn't being taught in school anymore? Are parents not teaching this to their kids? I'm baffled and as you can surely tell frustrated!!
