Big girl tub

Grace graduated to the big girl bathtub last night. We said "bye-bye" (literally) to our inflatable rubber ducky tub. But Grace had a blast in the big girl tub. She loves her new Sesame Street bath mat and learned that she now has A LOT more room for splashing!

Grace at the fair

Grace and mommy ventured out to the Clay County Fair on Saturday. Grandma and Grandpa Linn along with aunts Kate and Kristi came along too. Grace loved to watch people and pointed to the sky gliders and said "BALLOON" - close, they are flying high in the sky. Gracie enjoyed Dippin' Dots ice cream and had Tom Thumb donuts too. She learned how to dip her French fries in ketchup at supper time. From the faces she was making, she evidently doesn't like ketchup - but she kept on dipping.

New shoes

Grace has a new pair of shoes that are so snazzy she refuses to take them off. We found her these purple sparkly mary janes at Payless a few weeks ago. She helped pick them out, but later on was more interested in her Dora tennis shoes. Within the last few days, she has only been interested in these shoes. In fact, she gets upset when we try to take them off. She even slept in them last night. I hate the way that mary janes look in socks, but with this cool weather she has to have socks on and according to her, she has to wear these shoes!
