Learning to ride

Grace has been working hard at learning to ride a "big girl bike." She finally did it and she's so proud of herself!

Last day of preschool

Today is Grace's last day of 3-year-old preschool. Next year it's on to
4-year-old preschool every morning of the week!

Cheerleader Grace

Grace learned to do a cheerleader stand today thanks to friends Monique, Matea and Hannah. She also got to ride on Hannah's battery operated 4-wheeler. (The small ones, not real 4-wheelers.) She was so excited about it that she's begging for one for her birthday.

So busy

What a busy time! We apologize for the lack of posts lately, but we have been swamped.
Paul just finished the year and is finalizing his grades as we speak. I know he's excited to be done with the school year so that he can focus on our projects on the farm.
I just finished my classes at Iowa Central and am waiting for an official grade audit from the University of Iowa to see if I have junior or senior standing. I also start summer session classes at U of I on Monday. In addition to that, I'm back at work after 7 weeks of maternity leave and we're swamped as always.
The girls are having a blast and love playing outside now that it has warmed up. Hopefully the weather stays warm!

I was cutting Landon's fingernails tonight when Grace walked in. Her response "Oh no! Don't cut off Landon's fingers! How is he going to pick his nose?"

Yep. Grace might just have a future in comedy! :)
