Losing it

I might officially lose my mind by the time our house sells - whenever that might be.
We signed the papers to put the house on the market on Friday afternoon. We will be in the Buyer's Guide on Thursday when it comes out in the paper. I've asked Bruce (our friend and realtor) not to put the signs up until later this week. I still have things that I want to get done on the house - and yet still have to be a mom, have a job, do the laundry, pack things up. The more I think about the things I want to do, the higher my blood pressure goes. To add to it, a house just two houses down from us went on the market today. They are also a two-story that is Arts & Crafts style. They also have 3 bedrooms and hardwood floors, but they have a finished basement. We don't have a finished basement but have a fenced in yard with the PVC fencing and a large two-car garage. We're asking $7,700 less than their asking price, so hopefully that's a good thing for us. Realizing that they just went on the market about was the end of me today. Thank goodness that Bruce is a friend of ours, otherwise I'm sure he'd think I was certifiable! I'm a control freak - big time. (At least I admit to it now.) But I can't tell you how many times I've called Bruce to ask questions or to worry about things. Thank goodness the only other move we're planning is from the farm to our retirement home because I'm never doing this again - and this journey has just begun!
