On the farm

We are OFFICIALLY on the farm!
We moved everything on Saturday and have only a few odds and ends left in Manson. We plan to clear that stuff out and clean the house yet this week. Our closing is scheduled for Friday the 5th, but we have been told by our realtor that it may be the 10th because of a scheduling issue with the bank.
It is very strange to see our furniture in a home that we've been in so many times before! Grace is very confused. She keeps asking if this is Nana's house or her house.
We'll take pictures and post them soon, but first I have to find my digital camera. I have an idea it might be in one of four boxes....

Back from Florida

We are back from Flordia! Usually we would be sad about that, but the weather down there has been terrible! 21-inches of rain since Sunday and massive flooding in the Ormond and Daytona Beach areas! But at least we had Saturday and Sunday of last week to enjoy the ocean, the swimming pool and sand castles on the beach!

Unfortunately we ended up losing things too - I'm paranoid that I'm going crazy because I'm losing so many things lately! Thank goodness Grace has more than one pair of flip flop sandals because two shoes - not of the same style - are MIA and my new iPod is missing. I must be losing it!

C'mon Mom! We just want to go to the beach!!

Shopping at the flea market is hard work! Grace was very excited to get a train puzzle set! Now mommy just has to figure out where in the world it was packed!

Grace is pointing out the pirate ship out at sea - that of course only she can see. This was when the weather was actually nice!

Ready for the pool!

Time for sand castles on the beach! Grace has all of her sand castle toys in her very own backpack!

Emilia sports some new shades we found in the clearance bin at Gymboree. Cute - but very odd.
